You can transfer a balance, but there is a 5% balance transfer charge, and the APR will be the same for the transferred balance as it will be for new purchases. On balance transfers, there is NOT a 0% introductory offer.

No, you won’t incur extra charges for international purchases.

  1. Can I get a cash advance from my Amazon Visa credit card?

Yes, but doing so will be costly. First, you must pay a fee equal to 5% of the cash advance amount (or at least $10 if 5% equals less than $10).

Then, there won’t be a grace period for the cash advance, so you’ll have to start paying interest right away.

Last but not least, the APR for the cash advance will be higher than it is for purchases; as of our last check, it was 24.99%.

No. The Amazon Visa is not a part of Chase’s Ultimate Rewards program. The Amazon Visa rewards cannot be combined with any other Chase credit card rewards.

No, your card remains active, but you’ll lose the 5% and Whole Foods rewards. Instead, you’ll earn 3%.
